Formed in 1999, Grimlet is a band from Figueira da Foz, Portugal, whose musical style Death / Thrash won the national and international levels.


Initially formed by Alexandre Dias (keys), António Branco (Guitar), Claudio Aveiro (bass), David Carvalho(Vocals), João Jordão (guitar) and Luis Silva (drums), the band played their 1st EP in August 2005 at Hard Club of Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.

Produced by the band itself, "Darkness Shrouds the Hidden" was their 1st step towards promoting 'Domination Tour' which took the band with the new lineup, António Branco (Guitar), Claudio Aveiro (bass), David Carvalho(Vocals) Rui Todobom (guitar) and Luis Silva (drums), to the main national stages, and even integrate four compilations with national and international bands.

In 2009 Grimlet suffered another change in their formation, with the output of Rui Todobom and the input of Luís de Sousa. 2010 is the golden year of the band with the release of his first album "Grim Perceptions," as a result of 11 years of work.
