Band: Saviours
Album: Death's Procession
Label: Kemado Records
Tracks: 8
Release Date: September 06th 2011
Length: 45' 09" Saviours releases their 4th studio album "Death's Procession" on 06 September 2011.
The majority of the album is Stoner-Style Metal, with some faster tracks such as "To The Grave Possessed", "Crete'n" and "God's End".
The whole record has a 70’s Heavy Metal feel to it approaching itself to the English Heavy Metal from the late 70’s. Regarding this feel, the main difference is that between Saviours style and the 70’s style resides on the guitar sound which is played with full overdrive distortion and a powerful mute sound, being that on some tracks the sound is particularly heavy.
On the other hand the bass playing has a high technical degree and demonstrates a high skill level.
The album takes different turns as to the length of its tracks, every track has a little something into it that makes this all in all a good record.
